Is ebay really slow now with the new look? It take a few minutes to return to a listing after looking at one item forsale.

Why do people include,"not 440ex, not 300ex", etc in the subject headings when they are selling something else or another brand.
If I was selling Ford engine parts, why would I want to include in the subject heading, "not Chevy, not Chrysler, etc".
WTF. I know sometimes its helpful but usually its not relevent.
So theres got to be another reason.

the "Not's" are so people searching for the other models will see the ad and maybe be interested. it just gets you more exposure by making your ad show up in more buyer searches. It is kind of BS and makes you sort through and bunch of extra crap when you are a buyer!

I have found the new ebay layout to be insanely slow, especially if you are on a dialup connection.

that sucks to hear. I'm about to move out to the boonies where they don't offer dsl--which I have now. Back to dialup
