I replied to an ad awhile ago about a 85 Atc 70. Emailed the guy back and forth about condition of trike. It didnt run. He finally said I just want this out of my garage and gone asap. So I said does that mean its free. His reply was its worth $1000 in running condition so he would'nt let it go for anything under $600.

I had put my 350X on craigslist last summer... Had it on for under a week, when this younger guy calls me and offers me 1200 for it, (I had it listed for 1800 obo) Told him I didnt need to sell it that bad, he says, well, what would you have to have for it today? Told him if he brought me 1700 in cash, I would help him load it in his pickup... 2 hours later, I had a handful of cash, and watched him drive away....

why would anybody trade a quad they wanna sell for a grand for a xbox360 worth maybe 300 bucks with games?:crazy:
I hate putting things on CL because of the large number of people wanting to trade for something that isnt worth a 1/4 what i am asking for it. I feel if i do a trade then the trade should be worth more than what i am selling. I also hate the offer emails. On my Vstar i would be asking $6000, then i get 50 emails offering me $4500. I always respond to them " How can you make an offer without seeing it, come look at it then make a reasonable offer ". What is bad though is the Vstar NADA's for $6000. i have eventually dropped the price to $4100 and now i have the same people emailing me wanting to give $2500 for it. Sorry, had to rant a bit.

The clown who started this thread is exactly one of those guys who bothers you. I have been through it 100 times. I was selling a Ducati for $3700 and I got hundreds of calls and emails from clowns like this. "Oh, wanna trade your $1000 quad for my $200 Xbox?" Yeah, sure buddy. Why don't you just take the thing for nothing? I'd probly feel better...

FYI. Its up here in Canada, Not down there in the states! my Xbox 360 is the Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition Elite and its worth like $350 just the console and Hard drive its self(Or Something like that) and who knows, he could have been a Xbox guy or some one who Wanted to get a 360, How would i Know! or if he wanted to get rid of it bad enough. And Besides, You Don't Know unless You Ask!

do you really think somebody who has a quad they want a $1000 for would trade it for a $300 xbox 360 thats will get r.r.o.d. just think bout it before you send emails like thats ive he was an xbox guy im sure he would get a beeter deal then a xbox with just the hdd.worth $300 on a goood day? yea thats a great deal to me :rolleyes:

That's like me i put my Z400 on C L Because my buddy broke it. chain popped and took a chunk out of the case right behind the gear shifter. I wanted 1500 b/o the lowest i would have taken was 1000 and believe or not people were calling me and offering me Wii's ps2 ps 3 xbox 360 (i already have) and some cash maybe 200 bucks. I have well over a grand in after market parts alone and you want to offer me stuff i don't want. Then they get mad at me cause i don't want the stuff. All i want is your money like the ad said. Get a clue people. just had to vent.
