We will be going to Dirt Country Raceway, Saturday 8/15 for some dirt drag racing action. This place is northeast of Springfield, Ohio. If you are into atv drag racing you won't want to miss it. We usually go at least once a year. It's a three hour haul for us, but well worth it. There's nothing like seeing a 25 year old trike giving a bunch of banshee's a run for their money. 1upfront will be racing his 300R in the 0-350cc 2stroke class. Come on out and help us represent the 3wheeler World.:beer :w00t:

Hey Daddio, you know the track is hard as a rock this year. Thay actually roll it with a giant roller. Studs are allowed, if installed properly. NO SCREWS. This has cut down the attendance big time.

Also, its southeast of springfield. I would go but I'll be out of town. I have been racing there for 5+ years. It is very local for me. If you go, take some studded tires. Sled carbide spikes is what the few left use.

Do they water it down at all or do they run it dry? We took the airfooler out there twice last year and we were the only 3wheeler out there. The first trip out he smoked the clutch before the races and had to go home early. He ran once last year at Yellowcreek and they had a rolled clay track but it had been watered earlier in the day and it hooked pretty well. Actually to the point where he had a hard time keeping the front end down. The problem there was the super short shutdown that ended in the creek.

Yes, they water it. Ends up being slick.

So I guess we will be the only ones going to Dirt Countr this weekend. It would be nice to see at least one other trike out there.

Again we were the only ones representing the trike community. It was way too hot and humid for man and beast. We made the mistake of not taking any tools or jets with us because the 300 ran pretty well at TF. Well the extra heat and humidity made it pretty rich, to the point where when we pulled the plug after practice it was wet. He is going to race again in two weeks and we will take the jets with us. Here are some vids. :naughty:
