what does everybody do at their job. i realise that most of the people here arent old enough to work but to the ones that are: what do you do for a living? i run a very high speed printer. up to 900 feet per minute with 4 huge ink jet print heads. you can all see my work at a local k-mart. go into the store and look at the "advertised special" signs on the clothes and crap they have there. i print and cut those signs. i just ran 150,000 adds tonight. pretty sweet huh! :)
example: womens tampax tampons 50% off
Martha Stewart baskets 3 for 5
that is the kind of trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro i print. i used to print the barcodes on the ups shipping books but the company that bought out my company that i work for stole them. those damn canadian bastards :D

I've been an Air Force jet engine mechanic for 18 years and 10 months. In just 14 short months I'll be retiring. Before the Air Force I worked several different jobs as a teenager, i.e. food service, gas station, wrecker service, mud mixer for a brick layer, etc. The last job I had before joining up was working in a tampon and pad factory (Kotex and New Freedom brands) for about 2 years.

I am in the Air Force and stationed at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery AL. I am 24 and have been in a little over 5 years. I am an Air Traffic Controller(ATC) and I have worked in a sock factory in the sock capitol of the world which is Ft. Payne, AL, trimmed power lines for asplundh in North Georgia and put up metal buildings all before I joined the Air Force. I really like the AF and will probably be a lifer or until they make me retire.

I'm a student at Schreiner University--That's my job and it leaves me with plenty of free time (for now)
I work for my dad, usually doing finish trim in houses(door knobs, door bumps, garage door sweeps, weatherstripping, etc etc) but right now we are doing a big tile job. 6 g's in 1 week! Bigtime money, bigtime hurtin'. I also work for another fella doing construction cleanup here and there, and sometimes I work for some people watching there dog. I get paid 20 bucks a night to go to there house, sleep, eat whatever I feel like, watch cable(all channels cept porno and PPV!). Yep that's me. And I'm only 16 and I do all the crap, busy busy busy all the time.

Answer: he had to pull a few strings :-D
thanks howdy
I'm a former fishing tackle manufacturer/distributer(10 years) and also was a fishing guide, and occasional tournament fisherman .. switched my *profession* to robotic decoys manufacturer/distributer a few years back ... better money and far less toxic work.
Or in other words .. I work my @ss off September to January .. and screw around the rest of the year.
Not many jobs a person can go hunting for a tax write-off :-D

I spend my time running a broach. A broach is used to put the internal splines and keyways in gears, hubs, couplers, ect. I wondered for years how they did that and once I seen it I put my transfer in to run it. Its a great job to relax at. I just put a part in the fixture and press 2 buttons. It hard the break a sweat running it. lol

The secret to the timing chain job on the 22re is to not take the head off and if its a 4wd dont take the oil pan down as long as the guides didnt fall in the pan. If you can finesse it you wont mess up the head gasket, and just reseal the front of the oil pan. Although that motor is thought to be Toyotas finest hour by many. The valves are easier to adjust on that engine than the new ones with the shim and bucket set up, what a pain in the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. The 22Re is similiar to the head on the 350x or an xr with the valve set up.
