I would be willing to bet both motors are still in there. Look at how evenly it sits. Also, I have seen cars like this in person before and they are cool as can be. One thing about a set up like that. You never have a need to pull a U-turn. lmao

right now I'm living in Augusta. I'm a pilot and my company has moved me all around. Soon I'll be moving back to the great state of Florida. My girlfriend found that car in Auburn-Lewiston, I think that is pretty close to Lisbon.

It sure looks like it. There is something to say about Escorts: They are really different when modified. lmao

Hey Howdy how is the howdy-davidson going?

The Howdy-Davidson was moving but it broke down yesterday. Before it broke down we checked the speed and it does about 26mph in high gear ( checked it with a Goldwing motorcycle riding right beside it ).
The part that Broke: I made the one drive shaft and forgot to Temper the shaft before I installed it. The splines twisted off the shaft. I just welded it up and re-splined it. I also added a shear pin for added strength.
I still have a load of stuff to do to it. I am currently working on the shaft and shifter linkage. They are repaired but need installed. Next up is the "trick" exhaust. Right now it only has a 14" straight pipe.

I still have to fix or fabricate:
Exhaust ( I want it some what quiet ).
wiring (needs to be changed drastically ), radio, horn, lights, starter / kill switch, and other items.
choke set up.
seat ( s ) need re-made. I'm shooting for the ability to haul 7-9 people. lol
New Gas Tank needs built.
Hidden On board "Beer" cooler
Hidden Strorage compartment

Plus as many other "Red Neck" things I can come up with. I have some really wild ideas that will make most people scratch their heads ( The 1/2 car did that also!! LMAO ).
Our goal is to win the trophy in the Golf Cart parade they said they are having at the Kenton Nationals. I think & Hope a few friends are going to come over this weekend to help with it.
Right now I am looking for 5-10 pairs of used ( can be worn out ) High topped work boots or tennis shoes. I won't say why though. lol

I plan on getting some pictures of the drivetrain set up I made real soon. It's quite the set up. lmao

Using the Golf Cart differential alone made a very noticable difference in speed. I didn't check the speed but having the sprockets so the drive was 1:1 the top speed wasn't over 12-14mph. Reverse probably was only 1/4 to 1/2 mph, very slow. I geared the drive up by using different sized sprockets to get it to 26mph. That is fast enough for my purpose. When we get the dump bed put on it we will gear it back down for hauling purposes.
Yea, this is going to be a changeable cart, Pleasure and utility. I am hoping to make it so 6 bolts will change it from one to the other. A true one of a kind machine. lol
