the problem is in my 1998 dodge durango. All at once, the power windows quit working today. The drivers window is down a few inches, and none of the windows will move up or down. The fuse looks good, so I was guessing a bad ground somewhere but I have no clue where to check. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance

I imagine it has a relay somewhere and the fuse protects the control wire??

Hopefully it's something simple.

If worse comes to worse, you can direct drive them down with some jumper wires - gotta get a wiring diagram though........

yeah if I can't get it fixed soon, I might just pull the door panel off and use jumper wires to at least roll up the window. Its my only car and it stays parked outside, so I need to do something before it rains preferably. It has to be something simple somewhere

This might help. Gives you a schematic for a 2000 Durango, but the switches on your door look identical to the ones in my 2001 Dodge ram. Dodge shares the parts among all their vehicles. At least with this you can see if you getting power to everything. I'd bet on the Drivers switch, looks to be the "master" for all the windows. Break out the meter!

got it fixed, turned out to just be the drivers switch came unplugged. the plug must have been damaged when it was unplugged once(plastic clip is broken), and it wiggled loose over time. plugged it back in, and went to town on it with some electric tape. Thanks for the link to that schematic, theres been multiple times where I needed that and could not find it.
