Just called him and he wont take less than 2500.00 for it . He has the rear fenders and scoops for it . He told me he is the original owner also . It does run .

$2500 is a bit high and the trike is not in the best of shape. My first Tiger was under $2000 and was in similar shape and running. He may have a tough time selling that in this economy. And I have to laugh at him knowing of only 3 Tigers. Heck, I have 3 Tigers! I know a man that has way more than that and most are pretty cherry. They are a neat trike though. And Easier than one may think to actually restore than a 250r as long as you have the Tiger parts. About the only pieces that you can't really get are the ABS fenders and there are now fiberglass repops.

Wow, that is truly a sweet find. I think the guy seems a little full of himself, saying it will run 100+ and not even posting what figure of money he wants right off the bat. (now we know^) Great find, and hopefully someone on here can muster up the cash and scoop that bad boy up. Is that truly a 87 though? It must have the adjustable rake if it is the latest generation with the dual radiators. The picture isnt the greatest, so I cant tell. Looks like it has "restore me" written all over it!

There was only 1 Tiger with adjustable rake. It looks just like my Tiger, not the later gen Tiger, but the picture can't be seen well. But it does say scoops so it could be the later Tiger?

Who can pick up for me, I have no idea how I would get it back to Ohio. BTW, need this like I need a hole in the head, but so what- I have a little room to spare.

If his price wasn't so crazy I would have had it in my garage already because I live like five minutes from him

If it does run and has the fenders its actaully a very fair deal...rebuiling a rotax is very spendy!!!!

It is so rare because his is an "ATC Tiger."

No one stepped up to the plate when my Tiger was listed on ebay for $1800 and I was the only bidder. If you added what I paid for all the extra parts and the second Tiger in parts I received, I paid just a little more than that, but not much. To buy that Tiger and redo it nice, powdercoating everything and all the bits and pieces it would probably run you another $2000 or so give and take a couple bucks. And I hope you have a patient friend that is willing to help also! LOL

yep, you would probably have 5-6 k in it. for 1800 you can have a real nice R these days
