picked her up monday evening. started instantly with the kicker. Needed only a battery, and since some ass clown gutted the stock exhaust...one of those too.
Welded on a Fo-4 silencer (yes...I welded, it looks like a ball of bubblegum. But with a gasless chatterbox welding 1/16 steel to alluminum, I'm mighty proud of it). Bike sounds good and the engine was recently rebuilt with all honda gaskets, a 10.25:1 wiseco, and the early gen high lift cam. It makes GREAT power for a 300...strongest one I've ever ridden.
Ordered some HIDs for it as well because of how horrible the stock lighting is.
If anyone has the center folding piece on the back rack, I'm very interested in picking one up. also a blue kicker cover!
I might have that center peice laying out by my shop Ill try to dig around today if I got it its yours

with the new wheels and tires.
Ignore the blue snorkle...the black one I have is 2inches inner diameter and I can't get the stock carb tuned for quite that much flow.

Them some big racks, too. Where's the cooler?
As many times as I've stuffed beers in the pockets of my jacket or my BDU pants, there's no way I wouldn't ice something down and tote it if I had racks....:)

I actually am going toh ave to put something on the front, it's too hard to drive in deep water right now because the front end floats worse than a trike.

eh the tires are new, but I think I'll be alright.
There are people with 376 big bore kits turning 29.5s until they start smoking... tire/rim combo that weighs 16 pounds less per wheel isn't going to hurt the differentials for light riding and some water crossings.
Harry you laugh lol, we just got back from riding to the corner of the land....I'm soaked up to my chest. It's getting DEEP out there.
edited...no longer studying and in a much nicer mood now!
