I wish I had taken photographs today as we got my Air Force deuce prepped for tomorrows Veterans parade. I have the only tan vehicle in our convoy. I will get some photographs of the parade. We have a lot of military vehicle in it.

That's awesome lonesome. I only had mine for about 2 months. Then my ex dumped me and I had to buy a new house so the poor deuce had to go. I miss it like crazy. I got lucky when I bought it too. Mine came with an LS465 1A (5 ton engine).

You had a bed cover and convoy lights? That is awsome. I am down to three right now. The tow Air Force deuces I have are later models and have stuff my other deuces did not have.

I added the convoy lights and the new canvas. I also did a Solargizer, EGT and boost gauges, whistler turbo, fire engine horn, and I don't even remember what else. The thing had about 18 lbs of boost. They're supposed to have about 10. Somebody definately cranked up the fuel pressure.

Oh my god we took a lot of photographs. I will have to sort through them. I was pulled out of the group I went with so I could haul some retired Marines instead. That was cool, they road in the back and threw candy to the kids. When the kids ran out to get the candy the Marines threw, I then pelted them with more. It was great.

Finaly. This is going to take a while so bear with me. The tan truck is mine. And if any of you have ever wondered how many vintage military jeeps would fit on a Landoll, there you go.

Best photograph of the day right here.

I skipped over a lot and did not include our little party back at the shop. But I think you all get the idea. It was a good time.

That's awesome!! I wish they did something like that here.
My little boy used to love playing with my gear. All but the protective mask, used to scare the hell out of him. So what did I do? I would chase him around the house with it. It was funny used to think it was Darth Vader.

That a nice ride you have. Ever plan on painting and/or need stenciling let me know.
I'll hook you up.

If I keep it, I do plan to paint it green. I have another 87 Air Force deuce that needs a littl work. i was planning on biulding that ione the way I want it. But, until I get hired or find another way to pay for the Police Aceademy all of them are for sale.

Last year was fun. I drove the gun truck. This year I was able to drive my own truck. Those Marines were cool to have back there. They were great people.

I liked that town. If it was closer to I-75 I would not mind living there. But the fact thast it is in GA does not sit well with me.
