89 fourtrax/fourman 350 d question

my room mate bought this quad a while back. it always has the oil temp light in no matter what. sometimes it goes off, but it usually stays on right from when you start it to when she goes off. and with the light comes the fan running 24/7....... anyone got any help on this???

Ya, it does. Thanx again mike, you really have some resources. The fan and the light turns on even when the machine hasnt ran in a week or two. As soon as you touch the key they are both on. Pretty annoying, not my machine though, lol. Think maybe it has something to do with the redeck key ignition? It was busted out and replaced with some pull thing. instead of a key you pull out on a lever and it gives power, then push it in to turn off. dont know how that is though, like i said not my machine. :beer
