im gonna help him clean up the garage and the house for both of them! im going to check them out later and will try to get some pics

Thats awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a little chevy luv as our shop truck in high school for basic engine maintenance training. Think it fell off a train car or something, so they donated it brand new to the school. No miles, never ran, just abused by snot nosed high schoolers.

heres a few pics of the luv machine, all of the brakes were locked up from sitting in a garage since 1980, it has 71000 original miles, the Isuzu motor was also locked up tighter than a nuns you know what, but it broke loose in about an hour and didnt take long to fire a couple times

its a little ruff now but it has potential

I had a 77 luv in the light blue color. What a fun truck. I had the white spoke wagon wheels too and a tonneau cover. It was a 4 speed and a blast to drive. When you shut the door it was kind of tinny sounding. The brakes on those were set up as left front and right rear on 1 circuit and right front and left rear on the other circuit so if you ever lost a wheel cylinder, the truck would stop straight. You could do some really wicked bootleg turns by pulling on that emergency brake too! LOL Best of luck with your build.

anyone know were i can buy some rockers for this thing for a decent price? they have the only "major" rust on them, the front fenders are a little rusty and the hood looks like someone took an axe to it, but if everything goes right ill have a complete fiberglass front end :naughty:
