I got the ATVs out last weekend and went to a buddy's place to get the girls out for a little while.

Morgan, the 12 yr old learned to ride the Banshee, Brooke, the 9 yr old moved up to the DS90, and Riley, the 6 yr old learned how to ride the TRX70.

Easiest one was Brooke moving from the 70 to the 90. The other two each had their own issues and learning curves.

Morgan did great with learning the clutch, with pulling out, stopping and shifting up/down. I cranked the throttle limit screw in pretty far and only gave her about 1/4 throttle.

Riley has never driven anything but a Power Wheels a neighbor gave us, so this was a big deal for her. She did a great job regulating the throttle. She rode around the field for about an hour and wanted to go on a trail ride after that.

We did a super slow ride for about 20 minutes through some really easy trails and they all did great.

I got some pics as we were finishing up.

That's awesome, what's better than going riding with the family?
I don't think that I could handle having 3 girls, but I think that god is going to bless me with girls when I have children.
I hope someday my girlfriend will be able to ride again, as she had hip surgery, and can barely ride on the back of my bike for more than 20 minutes.
Do you plan on making the transfer to a 3 wheeler at any time, or do any of them have any interest in a 3 wheeler?

Thanks.

I've been spending more time on photography boards than 3 wheeler/ATV boards lately, but when I get to ride it will help with the pic taking ;-)

No plans to move any of them to trikes. "them things are dangerous".

I wouldn't object to them taking a spin on the X someday, after they learn the basics and grow a bit more, but I'm certainly not going out and buying 3 wheelers for them.

Aweomse! My youngest is 3 and its time to make the shift for the older two to to move up on a bigger wheeler. My son is 5 and he is on a 50 and my daughter is 8 and rides a sportsman 90. The 90 is plenty for her but my son want to be on a dirtbike. I am thinking of doing a zinger or a honda 70 for him for christmas. I agree nothing like taking off with your kids on a ride.
