For the first time in my life I just had to ride my mountain bike to the parts store. It was not a big deal because it is only a few miles away and I ride for exercise any way. But I cannot help but see the irony in it. I hate only having one vehicle running right now.
lucky you! only imagine if I had to ride to the parts store!!

That is what I was thinking. If we lived where I wanted us to live, I could not have done it. Well, I could but I would have had to pack a lunch, planty of water, and maybe a tent.

Normally I would have my motorcycle to fall back on. That is my daily rider. But sense I returned home we cannot afford to get it legal. At least I enjoy riding my mountain bike.

The last time I had to drop my truck off at the shop I ran home, but I run nearly every day so I just switched my workout to the morning and ran the long way back (because the shop is only 5 miles away).

Not hardly. The truck I was repairing is a great truck. It is the only thing we have that is legal and running right now though.

OT - But I must say, the best I have ever felt in my life was about 5 years ago when I ran all the time. When I finally got up to about 4 miles I finally knew what those crazy people running were doing..... Felt great.
And now I'm a useless SOB, amazing how fast life comes.............................

I started running and riding my bike when I returned from Iraq. That chow halls over there increased my waste line quite a bit. Now I feel better and my cloths fit.

It is not legal. I do not need any issues right now with citations.
