Woke up this morning with Laryngitis - Anyone ever have this?

Just as it states. This is really strange. I try to talk but I cannot. No other real symptoms, however I can feel my neck is a tad swollen. Not much info about it online.

Anyone got any trick remedies? Hope this goes away soon.

I know at least two people that have had the same thing, happens almost overnight, the one guy couldn't make any sound at all.

Its insane. I feel fine. Just can't talk. Its very difficult when you can't talk.

I actually someone at the local parts dealer earlier who had that.... crazy.

I'd get it checked out. My father in law woke up one day and couldn't hardly talk.
If at all at first. found out it was cancer on the vocial cord. He made if for about 2 years.

well im having trouble sleeping tonight ... its 5am in the morning right now ...anyway when i first read that thread title i thought it said menangitus.... i had menangitus a few years ago... almost didnt make it no joke, and i was a healthy young man... i was thinking to my self when i opend this post ... how the hell is he able to sit there and type! lol my mother works at a health care providing servies ill ask her in the morning... well the evening by the looks of it now...:cry:
