Dang it's COLD

Storm rolling through this week. Today was a high of 16, tomorrow high of 14 with 46 mph gusts then 2-6 inches of snow. Good thing we are south of the main storm they are supposed to get 10-12 inches in northern Ks. Super cold the rest of the week also. WORST thing is we worked outside all day today and probably the rest of the week.:cry: Guess it makes up for all the time I feel way over paid for not doing much and having a gravy job.

Not lucky I hate cold and snow. Wind is a big problem here, always have nasty wind then it makes our 6 inches of snow drift to 10 foot and no snow in other areas.

We have always changing weather, last weekend it was in the 70's, could easily be nice in a few days also.

I'll trade ya :) We're getting hit now, but its suppose to warm up and rain tomarrow :( I work outside all day, and I'd rather have it cold and dry, than cold and wet.

same weather is supposed to be here, just heard on the radio, snow and ran today, snow tonight mixed with sleet, then tomorrow snow and a low of 13 with snow and 50mph winds...means a lotta down tree limbs once that rain freezes on the trees and that wind comes thru..damn the cold weather, atleast we are gonna get snow with it

Big ZERO last night, with a high of 9 today, luckily winds didn't get over 30mph. Tonight is supposed to be -4. Getting warmer slowly with high of 40 predicted for Saturday.

They changed our overnight forecast it's now supposed to be -8. Tomorrow is supposed to be high of 20. I can't wait till it warms up. Working outside all day everyday this week has been nasty. Sure enjoyed running the rose bud today.

I know. I had to dust off my pants earlier this week. It was like 28° out at work tonight, I was loving it.

30 is cold???? And dont you normally wear pants???? Man, thats a heat wave here in MN! Loving the snow... Bought a plow for my BR today, was out tearing up the snowbanks with it, and in a few days the Honda and I will go ice fishing!

Considering we get two straight months of 100°+ weather every year, yeah, 30° is cold. The only time I wear pants is in winter, otherwise I'm in some shorts. I couldn't stand living in a place where it gets below 20° constantly or having to deal with snow all the time. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love cold weather, but that's just too cold. I hate the heat as well. I like Vegas for the 9 months out of the year it isn't 120° outside. We actually get snow every couple of years, too. Or I can drive 40 minutes to the mountains where it snows all winter.

We had the same yesterday! Havent been outside today, but im headed out shortly. I sure hope its not that bad. It was hell driving out of town last night. A gust of wind hit use when i was going over railroad tracks and the road was a sheet of ice, the back end of the truck started sliding on me! Good thing i was only going about 15.

The wind broke a 10 foot limb out of my next door neighbors tree and put it right though the roof of his porch awning. :(

Our weather is improving, should be 50 on Sunday.

As far as my work I went from working in the freezing cold to the extreme heat. Tomorrow we start rebuilding a boiler feed pump, it is powered by a 22,000 hp turbine, you can't imagine the heat involved. Only good thing is it will be at least 24 hours of o/t and 12 hours of d/t this weekend.

Wish it was 50 here tonight... I have no water or heat tonight until they fix my well. My inside house temperature dropped from 65 down to 54 deg in just over 2 hours.. Its gonna be a cold night

You better stay at a hotel or a friends, that is gonna be unreal cold by morning. Seems to me that could get cold enough to cause severe health problems by morning, such as FREEZING TO DEATH.

I am actually staying up all night to care of the things..Its gonna be down int eh 20's.

Already drained all the pipes so nothing freezes. I can cycle the garage heater on every hour or so to keep the temp up somewhat. The kids have their own little heater in the tent in the play room. Oh what fun.. Now the question is how much to fix it.

-20 wind chills here.. got about afoot of snow, which is no good for the ice.. hoping it stays cold, fox river opened back up, and the river hear is iced over, but no where near safe yet, prob gonna take a drive tommrow over to the lake and see how thats looking
