I guess I am lucky I don't live there. Because I would be tempted to snatch up any of those three for that price. But really I am unlucky because it is about 20 degrees outside. I hate cold!

Dammit!

There was a Tri-Z on the Phoenix CL for $150 not too long ago. Complete with good plastics and tires. Just needed the motor put together.

CL is too tempting here. I find myself trying to stay away but keep coming back. $600 is a steal for the 350X, its a rider just the way it sits.

one reason for the low costs are because of Titleless machines

with more stringeint registration enforcement in california and arizona...........ZOnies are finding out that they've been "ridin dirty" and are rapidly forced to clean up their chit if they wanna ride here in california....non-titled/registered arizona trikes are quickly becoming part out machine baits or simply oversized paperweights

Dammit!

Zonies don't need to title their trikes to ride in CA. The non-resident permit is still good enough. They have an either/or policy on it. AZ OHV tag or CA non-res sticker.

To ride anywhere in AZ though, you got get legal and there's no real cheap way to do it. The cheapest way I know still costs you about a hundred bucks a pop by the time it's all said and done.

So will a non resident permit allow me to ride my non titled/registered trikes from Kansas at Glamis?

yes, glamis is in Ca.

Yeah, I understand that I grew up in California. My question is if I got the non resident permit would that work with non titled/registered trikes I brought to Glamis from Kansas. I've been to Glamis a lot in the 80's and early 90's, and I would love to take my family back there.

I'm afraid how hassled I will be running trikes with no titles (from Kansas) by the LEO's out there. If I get the non resident permit, just show it to them and go on my merry way?

I don't want to go to Glamis and come home with an empty trailer.

You just have to buy the nonresident sticker to ride in glamis, you don't need to have it titled. All the rangers do is see if you have the sticker, if so, they just wave and drive on by.

Zonies don't need to title their trikes to ride in CA. .

dang...that sucks:banned: ....I get so chiseled living in SoCAL......and even a C note is cheap for a legit ride....I paid 325 for a title transfer and registration on my 86 tri-z...and my registration on my 2000 powerchoke is 450 per year

On the az title issue, I just did the bonded title on my big red and my 84 250R. it costs $115 bucks from start to finish, without the off road sticker. Pain in the butt but worth knowing the trike is actually yours in the eyes of the law. Ive got a pair of atc70's, these are the only two trikes that I have no titles on. I checked the vin's on both of them, and tempted to get a title on them too. jim

Im planning a few trips to visit friends in SD for long weekends. Planning on looking @ trikes and filling up a storage unit then driving east. May do the same on the next trip to sedona.

Basing whats out there on CL ads... theres exponentially more 2 stroker trikes in the south west coast than the north east by far.

Here in utah anything older than 87 just needs a bill of sale to get registered. Its nice for us 3 wheeler guys. The only 87 3 wheelers I know of that I would ride at the dunes (where I ride) is the 200x, 250sx, and a tecate. I don't own anyone of those. Good info about Glamis though.
