If anyone has ever shipped a frame before please speak up. I know it can be very pricey through various shippers and different ways of doing so. I need to know the most economical way of getting this done. Thanks

Got your PM. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?99094-Frame-shipping-trick-save-yourself-mad-bank This is what I do ed, and make sure you open a UPS account. Its a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to get everything all setup with the, but then you can print the labels online and it saves you ALOT of money vs taking it to a store.

buy a roll of shrink wrap, wrap it up good and send it through usps.

USPS parcal post is the cheapest by far . wrap in cardboard and tape it up good . I have shipped alot of frames this way with no damage .

I have shipped a few frames and the cheapest has been by shrink wrapping them. If you have a buddy that works for a big business see if he will ship it for you out of his work. Big businesses get huge discounts from ups. I shipped a 400ex frame from Dodge City Ks to Chicago for $33, I was amazed.

Yep I have to agree shrink wrap is the cheapest way to go, HOWEVER......you must cover any sharp ends with cardboard too, as fedex and UPS both will reject it, if there are sharp ends anywhere.

bubble wrap, then shrink wrap, and ship it off! usps is the cheapest here for any shipping.

I sent a frame out to Cali this summer.$48 from new jersey using the good old post office.cardboarded the edges and put it in a box. (flatscreen tv box) Just sent a whole fork set and tire/rim to decreel $50 for 65lbs.and thats going to KS. I ship cheap as poss and it only takes 5 to 6 days. not that bad I think

Shrink wrap and cardboard works for me too.

Banshee frame Mass to California was under 100$ - It was a HUGE frame! I have a picture somewhere.......

Once it's in a huge box, your screwed. And be REAL nice to that lady behind the counter, she hits one button and saves you 25%!!. Thats why its great to have a pre-established relationship with them :D

350x frame from south louisiana to Michigan for under 25 bucks.

wrap it in saran wrap and cover the sharp areas with shop towels and tape before wrapping.

when you get there, kill that lady with kindness.
