Finally got music going on my Zune for the long 30 hour haul to Cali next weekend.

Give me music suggestions! Good road music, whatever.

I like anything from 2 Live Crew to Taylor Swift.

Just racking my brain to try and think of some more stuff to download...........

atc eric, you can never go wrong with some ccr or the eagles. also if you like heavier stuff check out soilwork, or inflames (sweedish music i believe)

Yup, rawlings, ive heard em and their great, Me and my buddies play alot of stuff like that when have garage parties and stuff, I play guitar, a bit of 4 string banjo accordion and harmonica and know alot of irish/ newfie stuff. Always a hit at parties. Also as you mentioned for atc eric the eagles are also a great band, Very very professional and tight sounding live, unlike any other band.

i've seen both the dropkick and flogging molly. actually had a big fat dude grab my arm and jig dance to dropkick murphy's at warped tour in 2000 (it was different.. hah) I play guitar/bass as well, if you ever jump the pond i'd be down to pick with you. as for the eagles, i got their farewell tour 1 for my dad for xmas and watched it with him. I couldn't pick out an ill tempo or a sour note to save my life! they're fantasatic

try The Butterfly Effect (imago) and Karnivool (sound awake), both are really good roadtrip cd's.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Had over 5000 files to listen to on over 90 hours worth of driving over the past 20 days. About to jump back in my truck, and head back to Missouri. Another sweet 12 hours behind the wheel.

Most definitively already had CCR and the Eagles ready to go.

Muddog those are great bands, Im into the classic country as well as that classic rock stuff, anyone here listen to it? Seems like not a big country music following here, At least there another member on here that like the irish/rock stuff.

you drive for a living Eric? thats some serious hauling. Gotta be a Cheifs fan right?? I like mostly the heavier stuff, but alot of radio friendly stuff to, newest mudvayne/slayer/chevelle are good, dig all Tantric albums on a melower front. Corrosion of Conformity's "Blind" is a great album, if you like metal.

you drive for a living Eric?

Feels like it at this point! But no. Went to Gordens Well (Glamis) California early January, then when I got back to Missouri, it was right back in the truck down to Florida to spend a little time with my grandparents.

Total for the past 3 weeks is just over 7000 miles, and 150 hours behind the wheel!
