I like the armor-all giving it a wet finish and the really far picture of it. I bet its a 85 or 86, closer pictures to certain areas can tell what year it is. It was probably bought new in 87, as a left-over from 85/86 and barely was saved from the cutting torch.

the really far picture of it.

It's not so much that as Craigslist's picture hosting. It doesn't matter how big or small a picture you upload, that's as big as it gets on Craigslist. I'm sure if you e-mail him, he'll send the full size one.

Not only is it not an 87 but it also says Honda "band them" - How funny - a few nice OEM 250R's show up on ebay for good money and everyone starts posting trikes for sale with statement "in storage
" "mint"- This is too funny - I see a ton of ads like this- "wicked fast" not for your kids or Mother- Crap is too funny - My recommendation- be cautious when purchasing anything- most folks don't even know what they are selling or they try to polish and make it look good- Buy something for $1000- will have $3000 in it to make it right!

I saw the "band" too, that is funny. It wasn't honda's choice to ban anything. From what I have read in the reports, not may full suspension 3 wheelers were on the list of accidents that led to the ban. My own personal reasoning on this is -
The average Joe buys a big red and thinks "looks easy enough" and it is, when your not doing 50mph on the pavement and want to turn, or trying to drive it while under the influence.
I really doubt that a noobie would go to a dealership and buy a 2 stroke race machine to dink around on. I think that the people who bought the race bike knew what they were buying and how to control it, for the most part.
Anyways nice looking bike from the pic, I bet a grand would get it in your garage.
