My 250R progress....

I recently became a member of trx250r.net because my laptop suddenly quit letting me access 3wheelerworld.....it says my javascript must be enabled to view this site.....well im at a family members house now so i can fill everyone in on a build i started in april 09.....to save me some time...here is the link to my older pics and info on this build thats already posted, http://www.r-central.net/trx250rforums/index.php?showtopic=4295 ..... Actually i have a few more parts now so these newer pics are a few weeks old...I have a billet spider gas cap,a blackanodized master cylinder cover with a spider web engraved in it,and an aftermarket rev box......BTW a member on here called "x.system" sold me his frame when he parted out his 87 250r... my terrible parts list: -Lonestar axcalibur +4 axle -lonestar +2 sport A arms -Laegers swingarm -hinson quickchange clutch cover -ESR billet motor mounts -Asv levers -Flexx handlebars -hinson clutch basket -black Janssen motorsports antifade -polished stainless steel bolt kit -Carbon fiber gastank cover "fourwerx" -Carbon fiber radiator scoops "carbonfiberasassins" -cascade innovations polished oil plug and gas cap-both billet

i found these old pics from the first week i had it....i started the tear down after the first or second week....i forgotten about these pics i took with both my Rs...the 2 pics of the trx by itself was the photo from the craigslist add before i got it....it has come a long way....

you should get the PT head and put on a 23 cc dome. its some nice extra power

I havent updated this in awhile. I have gotten more parts (since the last time i posted) than what im about to list, but these are my most recent.
New ESR stator cover, new terrycable throttle, a brand new CR 250 ignition from esr,and last but not least...My custom decals. I know a guy on two different forum boards (trx250r.net & atvriders.com) who goes by the name "Troybilt". He is the one who designed them for me. I told him what i wanted and he threw it together quite nicely IMO. Especially since this is the first decal kit he has ever done.
Anyways I temporarily taped them on for a visual. I left the decals on the white waxpaper incase anyone is wondering why or what the white line around the decals are.
Im gonna order a new set of Fullbore fenders tomorrow. They are gonna be Black and the "FULL front fender" version cause everyone has the racecut look. Then im gonna top it off with a carbon fiber hood from a company called Fourwerx Carbon. It looks exactly like the Quadtech hoods,but Quadtech discontinued 250r stuff.

I got a new fullbore fenders, a "Fourwerx" Carbon fiber hood and Hiper beadlocks awhile back. I dont have any pics with new wheels so ill update with more pics next chance i get.

How do you like your front tires?

I was racing when guys first started using those car radial tires and they always looked cool but I never liked how they worked.

I don't mx race but I do really like them. I dont expect a whole lot out of a front tire unless its sand. i havent had any issues with traction, on dirt or grass. I wanted them cuz I thought they looked nice.

Same here. 3rd ?? weekend the TRX's were out ,,EVERYONE had their radial trailer tires on,and for Monroeton and Liberty, { 2 local tracks}they worked ok. But for ANY sort of actual off road I just didn't like them !
