Resurected my old tree-slayer. Its a stihl 066 sportin all new guts, crank, bearings, big-bore cyl ported by me with a port-matched exh system. Heres a few pics of it in shambles and then together. Shown are before and after of the jug. The ugly stuff is just oil and crud from honing the pig out to git rid of burrs. According to the "pros" on another forum, you dont touch the transfers, just widen the intake and exh,...so thats what i did. Gotta pump some fuel through it tomm to break it in then ill report back with some sort of vid. These things screw with a few mods, and are fun to play with.

Man, that is one NASTY SAW!!!

You ought to put a sticker on it that says "JAWS!!"

I never commented in your other thread but I did appreciate it :) Although I hate seeing land go bye bye, in many cases it's the right thing to do and necessary. That machine you drive must be a friggen blast!

I have ALLOT of respect for anyone who has a job like you, thats nothing easy to get motivated to do at daybreak and 10 degrees!! No to mention that getting killed is always one wrong step away!

Hope to see you at Pennsatuckafuckayuckaway with me and DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPA!!

Thanks Steve. Not to worry about the land goin bye-bye,....all i do is select cut, no clear cutting. I just go in and give the place a haircut and pull out the ripe stuff and leave the rest. Hopefully in 20 years I can hit it again! Within 5 years all the hacked up tops will have dissappeared and all you will see are some scattered stumps. The saw does have a fitting sticker on top "All Balls" Its a 90 somethin cc saw to begin with, now its over 100cc. She's an arm ripper.

I plan on hittin penn with you guys. Just debating on what to bring,.........

Heres a vid,.....im not too proud of it. I touched a piece of frozen crud on another piece and dicked up the teeth on one side. Also frozen oak never seems to cut very fast anyways. But nonetheless,. here it is alive and well. Ill try to get something better up in a cpl days

Nice job. Cuts through wood faster than any saw I've ever used.

"Jaws" as Steve so named it, finally broke loose today. It took 6-7 tanks to finally get it to where its actually making good power and running right. You can just feel it when the bearings and seals finally loosen up and let it run right, no more stalling or farting. This thing pulls HARD,.....This is a piece of oak, 22-23 inches at the cut
