What the heck is going on with Honda?? They still haven't released the '10 models. I can't remember any year they waited this late to release the new models. Anyone know what's up?

They are not making any 2010's since they had so many 07 and 08 leftovers.. There was a shop in PA with about 40 or so 07's they were selling for $4200 just to get rid of them

They are making a few 10 models. The ranchers, rincons, and I believe the 400ex.

I think Polaris is doing the same thing with the outlaws. Everyone has so many carry overs. I know Polaris normally just automatically sends there dealers a certain number of atv's and the local ones around here are not getting any outlaws.

I noticed there where no sport models out yet either, just utility: rancher recon ,just a few. Maybe it's because of the economy?

This was in the Dirt Wheel's 2010 Buyer's Guide. They are carrying over since there are so many still sitting in showrooms like jason85atc250r said.

Yeah, Honda won't send any new models out unless your dealership is low or out of that model. Then they will send the 2010's but will filter in leftover 2008's and 2007's as long as your selling em. Bu your dealer won't get em, if they've had one on the floor for along time. Honda only gives dealers what sell. That way they don't have a lot of stock they can't get rid of. That's why when Honda releases a totally new model like the NT700V or a new scooter, they only send one in each color. That way if they don't sell, you only got two. Keeps things in check. But your dealer, or atleast we do, gets to place orders for what they want each year. Ths way they don't get anything they don't think will sell. But Powerhouse dealers have to had at one time every color or opion of a model.

there is no 2010 trx450r's period since there are so many left over old ones. they did not even make any of that model.

I wonder how rare a 2010 will be in 25 years' time. It will be like finding an 87 250R. :)

there will not be any 2010 sport models even made according to my buddy. he said the warehouse is full of 2009s. some of the new bikes will have many upgrades and they don't want to release them till the inventory of the old model has ben depleted. if the release them now then the old models will never sell. this is according to him. he works for the factory.

Yeah, no 2010 sport models, no 2010 Foreman or Rubicon's, some dirtbikes too, but I can't remeber which ones. It's all on Honda's Website, if it doesn't list a 2010, there won't be one.

On a side note you can get some smokin' deals on some leftovers. My buddy is considering buying a new '07 trx700xx for $4200.00 Any opinions on that machine?
