Anybody see this Polaris quad?

I don't have any idea what it is, but it looks to me like a 3-4 conversion.

It kinda looks like a 3-4 wheel conversion....but I think its one of their earlier versions of the Trailboss, but I'm not sure :rolleyes: Its still a POOP-laris though.

I think we need Howdys opinion on this one. He has a near mint 3 wheeler Polaris to compair it to.

its not a 3-4 conversion, my friend used to have a bike shop and I worked on a couple of them. What big heaps, the suspension on them is like spring boards and just plain slow. I was told polaris came out with them to TRY to make some competition for honda's 250r(haha) however just some food for thought, the rear carriers look almost identical to 84/85 teacte, its been awhile since I seen one, so more may be similar, it was chain drive too.

Here is my opinion: It isn't a 3-4 conversion at all. It is a earlier version Polaris from when they were just really getting started. Too bad it isn't closer to me. I would buy it for parts.

Thats definitely an early 4 wheel Polaris 250 R/ES - they changed the name to "Cyclone" in 1987.
