Well here goes the big black out thread. I'm in the north western suburbs of Detroit and it went out on us between 4:30-5:00. Pure hell on the roads. Anyways one hour North of us didn't loose power at all, nor 1/2 hour west of us, and we recieved our power back at about 3:30 sat. A lot of places down twards Detroit still do not have their power, (on Woodward too @ 9:00PM). I hope Woodward will have power for the big cruise sat. I also hope there will be less people because they all went up north. Friday night there wasn't a lot of traffic, but police cause traffic jams by closing the road off at 8:00 pm, they will close it at 8:00 pm sat. night too.

By the way I totaled my escort in a not so bad accident and bought a new truck the same day! I'll post up a pic sunday or next week sometime.

OOPS, lol #3 isn't bad. We didn't lose power here. But all of our TV channels had nothing but "Black out" updates every 3 minutes. The one station even ask this: " If your without power call or email us". I lmfao when I heard that. yea, I don't have electric so I will just watch TV and email a radio station. Don't the news people realize electric is what power these things. geesh!!!!!
lol

LMAO Howdy.. :D

My grandparents live outside a small town called Norwich...about 45 minutes north of Binghampton, NY. They lost power but the town still had it, and the rest of my family still had it there...strange.
