Howdy. I browsed the old site several times in the past but never really got involved and now I'm finally starting to get into it. Here's a brief history for you all: started off riding my dad's '77 atc 90. Five or six years ago it got parked because it needed parts and we had no money. I bought a pair of Kawasaki KLT 200's last summer and that got the whole family back into 3-wheeling. I have since bought an '85 tecate t3, a '78 atc 90, and a '79 atc 70. Dad started working on his 90 and bought 2 '85 tecates for parts and a project bike and my brother bought an '85 atc 200x. Went down to Chadwick (by Ozark, MO) a few times late last fall. Looking forward to ride a bit this spring and summer if anyone else in the area wants to meet up at Chadwick or somewhere else. Oh yeah, we live in the Springfield, MO area.

Hehe, here's the tecate as of Thanksgiving week. haha. I started replacing the forks last weekend. Actually out of all my years riding, this was my only accident. Stupid twist-throttle, haha.

Awesome, what happened to that tecate? Did you get new forks? That tecate looks sweet.. You have some nice 3 wheelers, we'll have to get together and do some riding..

Well, let the clutch off a little too quick on a concrete slab, ran into a brick wall just as the front end started to come down, probably hit it 20 - 30 mph, haha. 5 staples in my leg. Took the straight forks off the tecate my dad bought for parts. I looked into driving to little sahara, I think google maps said something like 8 hours, but I'll definitely consider it when my bro get's leave from base this spring.

Well, we should be heading out on wednesday or thursday before the ride, maybe we could meet up and ride out there together. It's a thought. If you need anything for your tecate, just holler. I have had my 84 Tecate for over 20 years. I can't get enough of them.

If my bro gets to come back that weekend, we'll probably come out, but I'm definitely going to try for the St. Joe gathering in ?march?. Provided I have some time to finish repairs between work and class. hehe.

Welcome to the boards. ScottZJ is putting together a ride at St. Joe State park this March. You should check it out in the Trikefest and local riding section.

Well, I'm definitely trying for the little get-together at St. Joe Park. My bro might request leave for June 21-28. If it works out, we'll be at TF and probably so will the rest of the family.

Well, I got the forks replaced on my tecate. Using the tubes from the parts bike and the lower parts from my original, everything is back together. Just need to know if regular SAE 10W oil is right for the forks. Here's a pic of the new forks: New Forks (http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp42/zagames/tecateforks.jpg). Took almost 5 minutes with a sharp blade to cut the bent tube in half with the Sawzall (to reach the bolt down in there). Hopefully I'll get some twist-throttle practice before St. Joe or TF roll around. Hehe

Good to know there are some SW Mo trike riders out there. I live in Springfield also, maybe we could all hook and ride some day.
