I saw a Tri-Z on ebay and looked at it . This guy says he has a quadrajet cab with the powerbands in it . Now I know where to put my powerbands . All this time I've been wondering . My next quetion is how many powerbands can I fit in a carb ? And by the way when he says Quadrajet ... isnt that refering to a rodchester quadrajet , a car carb ?

Yes.. This is a very serious mod for the Tri-Z. The quadrajet costs 3 grand alone, and you have to buy "special" elastic powerbands for this carb. If you buy just "regular" elastic powerbands, you F*$K up the engine bigtime. These "special" powerbands are expensive, 500 bucks a piece. This is a GREAT find, I would invest if I had the money.

Ya know you guys all have to be jerks about this powerband thing - we all think it's funny - HA HA but it would be really nice if you told ALL these guys that they'll need a real fuel pump to supply the new power bands. It's not fair for them to think there all set if they just get a new powerband using the gravity gas flow and not the either injection system or pump. How else is the fuel gonna get there??????

Cut these guys some slack!!!!!
