Exhaust, K&N air filter with the outerwear cover, then the best thing to do would be to get some aftermarket shocks (and A-Arms if you can afford them)

Also you can change your gearing. I don't know if you can do it on a warrior but you can on a 350x try dual oil coolers. Some one correct me if im wrong please :-D

Why not? You can make a warrior go faster then your big bad 250r! It may take a lot of money but hey it will still do it eventyually. Maby the guy doesnt have enough money too buy something else :D

Its called selling it and getting something for around the same price you can get 3500 out of a good warrior.

I highly doubt you can sell an 87 Warrior for 3500. I would have trouble getting 4000 for my 2001 warrior.

Oh ya...I almost forgot. Put a +1 or +2 front sprocket on it...it really brings out the Warriors potential. I would do this before I got any other aftermarket parts too.

I had an '87 Warrior. Nice quad for what it was. I always liked the backup pull starter. Definitely go with at least a +1 C/S sprocket, a good set of low profile tires and rims (they make a world of difference in handling terms). As far as a pipe/silencer go - I'm a huge fan of the Pro-Circuit T-4 for a thumper - really woke my 250X up and looks great. Id get a Uni or a Moose filter for it too - not a huge fan of K&Ns paper designs ..... but thats me.
