I saw a set about 2 year's ago on e-bay go for 2100.00 and some change,does anybody remember that auction~LOL me and some other's were just talking about those fender's a couple week's ago.I'm going with 2100.00 and i'm willing to bet they'll go maybe even more than that.I had a set of nice oem's in great shape that I traded and I got a '87 200X for and I was glad to see them gone,I was alway's so freaked out i'd break them ..Joedirt ended up with the fender's and he just has them on the machine for display ,he got maier's to replace them so the machine could be ridden.I sold a nice set on e-bay last year for almost 4 bone's and they had some minor yellowing.I am for sure watching this auction...

I call bullsh*t on the retraction. "Explanation: Entered wrong amount". But yet he didn't bid again? He was just fishing to see where the high bid was at. I'm thinking with the economy where it is, $1000 will be the top amount.

I just hope MAIER continues to make them or I'll have to credit card 3 or 4 of them. They fit and work just fine.

Many of us are "collectors" but not to the same level/extreme of others. How can I ride a trike with a 1500$ fender?? Maybe just straight line but nothing more.
