Nice bike, but I think since he does not have to sell, then he probably won't at that price.

It is nice but that seems like a lot for a 82. Anyone able to chime in at how much would be a FAIR price for that one?

hard to say what a fair price is for something like that. I think it is one of the harder models to find in that type of condition If it is unrestored. I believe it was the first true utility/farm style 3-wheeler, so it may have not taken right off in its introduction year. I agree it is definately pricey. If it were mine though i wouldnt sell it for 1200.00 though.

I just got this one for $845, I could only talk him down $5 but I couldn't walk away. this was his craigslist picture. it was dusty but unbeliveably clean. No cracks everything works, only small ding, perfect seat and it seems to run good, only had it out this weekend 1 time. My first 3 wheeler but I already grabbed a 86 250 big red that needs some work for $150 that i stumbled across the day after i got the 82.

I picked up a 82 200 big red like the one shown in really good shape and gave $150.00 for it. The only catch is that it needed a set of rings, but i am in the process of doing that now. Will post pics when done. How hard would you say these are to find?

It's one of those things like when you get a new truck then you realize how many trucks in town are just like it. You don't really notice till you get one. I have had mine for 3 months and I have seen about 5 for sale in various places since. They do always seem to be valued higher than say an 83 or 84 but do they sell? So, it's hard saying not knowing
