Weren't some '70's sold in '69? It can't hurt to go look at it for that price or at least get some pictures of it.

Most likely its a 1970 model but made in the later part of 1969 . common mistake

Shady, A trashed trike is a trashed trike. People keep thinking that even trashed us90s are worth $1000 in any condiition. And it really just isn't true. And without a picture, I'd say $100 gamble at best. Go take a look. The owner thinks it's worth $150, so I wouldn't go get too excited, but you may get lucky. And if it still has balloon tires, you still havent' hit the lotto yet. Yeah, you'll have some goofs that will pay $300 or more for tires that are really crap, but some people are actually starting to learn better. Best of luck if you really are interested in the trike, but I wouldn't get my hopes up that you will be finding gold or making a ton of cash.

Yes they were. They Did ship some to USA in Late 1969 and were Sold Late 1969, BUT you would need to know Ser# to tell! Also there was some Dead give aways it was 1969 ! the first 100 oe so had glued on fender protectors instead of Rubber gromets Also back fender was More rough fiberglass. The One Mike From VMS did for JAPAn was a Late 1969. Also i have here another late 1969 Ser # show one of the first 75 or so. So Yes late 1969 came to USA
