two 250r's for sale here on the rock. bad thing is, people here know they are rare in this part of the world. Charging a pretty penny and they are not in the best shape. But still, if I had my own job, id be all over these like flies on ****

the owners know that everyone here is looking for them, rarely see them around. But I dont think they are going to sell for that. Id say they are worth around 800 or 900 each

heheheh. The funny thing about americans is I always see them getting 5 250rs for parts for like 300$ and think they over paid. You guys dont get how hard these can be to find. Also these bikes dont even have cool heads done up cranks exhaust systems you never heard of befor. Bring your trikes to canada and get some serious coin.

Those prices are not all that unusual here in Iowa either. Too high for me, but not too high for the area.

If they are as rare as people say, they are worth it. Supply and demand. Wonder what a 350X would go for up there? Can they be imported to Canada? Like could someone close to the border come down and pick one up or would they not be allowed to bring it into the country? The US has a lot of hassles and red tape for bring vehicles from Canada to the US.

all I can say is wow. I just sold a 84 250r with 2 spare bottom ends, extra rear fender, front rim, cylinder, running (although it lost 2nd gear) with title for $500.

umm ya i think raffa said you could bring them into canada. I am seriously considering driving down to the states just ot get a 350X. I have seen a few up here go for close to 4 grand. and no they were not in showroom shape. actually they were pieces of crap, and would take around 1k in work just to run and look right. If anyone has a 350X and is in the north western states, let me know and ill see if i wanna drive there for it... lol

Thats what I was wondering because we drove to Canada to get a couple diesel Toyota 4x4's since they go for a fortune in the states. I know if I was up there I would be heading south of the border to grab some 3 wheelers.

Yeah we picked up 2 diesel Landcruisers, one 2H and one 3B. I'm going to put the 3B in my 88 4Runner, and give it the solid axles. Its body was rusted out, and so was the frame. The 2H Landcruiser was cleaner, my sister bought that one to just use as a daily driver, cross county traveler, do it all vehicle. The things are awesome.

yes sir, they are very awesome. my 89 4runner was nutted out, but i sold her last fall. got a 82 toyota pickup on 35" boggers and a 4.3 v6 chev vortec swap in it now. goes like hell in the mud... I want a willy's jeep and something bad, like a '46. Looking at craiglist i see lots more 250R's and such for sale in the northern states. Better start convincing the wife now....

It's not illegal to bring them into Canada, in fact it's very easy to do, even easier if you can get them with a title. A stop at customs to get the importation form and pay the GST and then take the title, bill of sale and importation form to the MTO , pay the PST and get your new ownership, Done. (Of coarse there is the half hour you spend at the border arguing with the customs officer because he thinks there illegal and can't be imported, but he was wrong)

Well the second one for sale was my fathers then mine. Frame was cracked and repaired, engine had a leak in the bottom end, pipe was nasty, no back brakes and other wonderful things wrong with it. Sold it for $800. My 81 I sold for $1200.

Well, when the hell is someone in Canada going to come up with an '87 ATC 250R?? Im seriously starting to think that was all just a bunch of Bull **** about the '87 "R" being sold in Canada.

Well just go to NLclassifieds.com here and go thru atc and atv sections and you will notice big reds are 95% of threewheelers around here. Wish there was more sportier bikes.
