Hey everyone-

Hoping someone could help me out with this. We're getting play with the bearing carrier (below is a vid). The axle doesnt move in the carrier, the carrier moves in the swing. This is without the pinch bolts being tightened and with the caliper stay in place with the ring. Any ideas? Its a RAD carrier.

Here is another post with some other info: http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/showthread.php?t=40856

First of all:welcome:

Secondly, you may want to post this in Trikesylvania.

Third, if the pinch bolts are loose the carrier should move in the swinger, no?

I couldn't get the video to play. It may be my connection.

HI fab-

Sorry for the incorrect category, I'll move/repost it. I'm not as active on this site as I would like to be. The carrier slides right to left about 1/8" with the caliper stay mounted. It didn't seem right. I'll repost though when I get to a computer. Thanks

We have a ton of people making billet carriers now. And many of them don't fit well..............

Swigin was the 1st person to share and post this... I think he said the BOSS carrier was garbage!!

Side to side won't hurt too much, but allot of these carriers don't fit well and instead of them being off a bit, they are off quite allot.

Even the bearing/spacer/collars are short and are too long and cause longevity issues, where they were suppose to fit well and be as bit tougher or better quality than OEM and ..................?? OEM ROCKS!! - good luck!!

THATS all we wan!! :)....

Take care and be/work smart!! :D:
