Ya know, I really love both these shows but in my opinion especially American Chopper - they aren't nearly as talented as people perceive. These guys have someone else make their motor, frames, seat, wheels etc. etc. They even have paint and chrome people. I've watched them make mods to frames and even then they just seem like HACKS. Grab a drill and plow away - who cares as long as it's mounted - seems to be their theory. I'm headed outside to reshape, sandblast, prime and paint some ATC parts - all of the steps by ME! Noone helps us little guys in our restore jobs.

I totally agree with you there Dirt Crasher. I mean Jesse makes most of his frames by himself, pounds his own tanks, etc. The bikes by Orange County Choppers still look great but I like West Coast Choppers a bit better. The only thing that Ive heard is that Jesse doesnt seem to care for his customers as much. I am not sure if it is true but o well, his bikes seem to turn out awesome to me.

Jessie does all of his work but paint come on yeah there hacks but orange guy paul i think it said on the show that the first tank he ever made was for the one army bike they did. Come on i think jessie is better cause he build most of his stuff come on he even does his wheels in his shop tanks fenders I think Paint and seats are the only thing jessie doent do.

all i know is when i get an extra 50 g's
i will have one of them build me a road legal trike as close to a 200x as possible.(bigger engine of course , how does 1100cc sound)
so far i'm favoring OCC but only because of the theme bikes they build.
well both are talented, and i prefer OCC, but don't believe everything you see on tv, a guy i know is building a custom bike and ordered one of Jesse's so called hand made $450 tanks, just to open the box and see a made in CHINA sticker on the tank.

Really? Where did he get it from? Actually from West Coast Choppers or from Ebay?

If I remember correctly not every tank Jessie uses is hand made. I thought he stated that the hand made tanks are costly. The paint they used on one tank cost $1700+ a qt. I doubt a $450 tank would be a hand made one.

I like Orange County Choppers better. I like how they fight all the time lol  . I think Jessie James And Paul Jr. should have had a bike build off. How come neither of them were in there?

I think that all the people from OCC and WCC should just either get into a big trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro fist fight or just build one he!! of a bike or something. Also what would be kool is if they were to build a bike dedicated to bike building or the hells angels or something like that.T

A 200x fuel tank costs $350, how can a hand made one cost $450? I would not even think about making a custom tank for only $450!..... and I have never tried!
