Hello everyone! I have been searching internet for some info and this site pops up first every time. I have just bought a 85' Honda 250ES. When I got it the reverse cable was broken and dude just ran rest of the cable up by seat to pull on. Well I have a new reverse cable for the big red but dont have no idea how to get it adjusted. I put it on, but when I go to pull the handle to engage the reverse, just the other black wrap thing moves and not the wire inside it. Could anyone explain how I'm suppose to get it to work right. Thanks for any help!
I did buy a repair manual for it, but I got new tires and they are at mechanics shop with my manual and he went home sick and I'm stuck without my manual until Monday.
* Well I took a ride to a buddy's house to look at his 3 wheeler and I figured what was wrong.... I had the cable backwards, lol.
