WTF Happened to chat?

I go in, and the topic has been changed by "smokinwrench"(when did he become admin?). I also look, and "smokin-away" is there, and he's an op? WHen did he become an op? OR did our lil chatroom get hacked? Am I missing somethign?

The reason that I was an op...was that the #3wheelerworld channel has been messed up for a while now. Therefore, it worked like any other channel, where the first to come would be the op. ;)

And now chat is down so I can't get in (I couldn't get in earlier either) :(
