suzuki lt 250

Anyone know if there are any years to stay away from. Also, where are the serial #'s located at? I have a person interested in trading me a lt 250 for some R/C trucks I have. I was thinking the 250 would be good for the sand dunes. Thanks

if its a lt250r, the vin is on the left side lower frame rail, in front of the engine.

there really isn't any major problems with any year. just the 85-86's have less performace ablity. 91-92 would be the best to get. i have an 86, and i can out run my buddy on his banshee in the woods.
