The no. 844 1944 steam engine spent the night here in Coffeyville, KS last night. This morning we got up early to see it leave town. This steam engine is awesome to say the least. Here is the video.

Here is the website for the steam engine tour with dates and a up to the minute GPS link to show where the train is in the US. This is definitely a must see if you get the chance.

Great video, but get a tripod! LOL There are a couple more members on here that I'm waiting to see chime in. Looked like some old pullman cars bringing up the rear. It sure looks like it would be a great ride. Thanks for posting that.

Yeah, it was definitely a little shaky. I was walking backwards away from the tracks trying not to trip over my 5 year old. It was definitely an awesome sight. Yesterday we watched it come in to town and there was a line of about 50 vehicles on the highway following it into town. We picked a little place next to the house to watch it leave town, and before I knew it there was about 20 people there. It was definitely an amazing experience.
