Man what a terrible experience I am having with Ebay. I haven't sold anything for a couple of years but decided to give it another try. Nothing much just make a little cash to fund some projects. Listings went ok but when it came to getting paid is when my misery began.
When I sold on ebay years ago I had a different email account that my Paypal account was linked to. My paypal is no longer linked to that account but ebay sent my payments to it because I overlooked it when setting up my add. In the payment preference section it said paypal to ditchmud......and that was all I saw and breezed right by it. It has been a huge hassle and I cannot get any help out of paypal or ebay. Heck I cannot even figure out a way to contact Ebay. Their system just keeps sending me in circles untill I get pissed and give up. Their customer service sucks. Their fees suck. Their feedback system sucks and I swear I will never sell another item on Ebay again!!!EVER!!!!!
Well I guess I feel better now:rolleyes:
Let's hear your Ebay nightmares:crazy:
1-866-648-5870 is paypal customer service(if you call it that) i had to call them 4 times this week to get something taken care of. ebay and pp have become way to money grubbing. if it wasnt the easiest way to sell stuff i would never use it.
on a side note i bought a parts 79 us90 off you few yrs back off ebay.

My latest woe was a buyer from Australia was allowed to pay me before I sent an invoice. He was able to put whatever he wanted in the shipping area so he paid me $2 for shipping. Apparently if you dont fill in worldwide shipping prices, the buyer can. After receiving payment, I could not send an invoice through ebay. I had to send a Paypal invoice outside ebay. I think he could have fought it and screwed me.
What a crappy system.

ebay is shooting themselves in the foot. Thier fees are outrageous and since they bought paypal they really can bend you over. Ebay holds you hostage now.
Hard to argue with the exposure you get, but ebays days of growth are all but over. More and more people are fed up with them, myself included

I don't remember. I would need more clues to put a face to ya but I hope that I treated you right!
I think that I am working through this mess. I have been communicating with the buyers and letting no everything that I know. I have recieved payment from 2 buyers. I have one buyer that cancelled his payment and is waiting for it to show back in his bank before he sends a payment to the proper account. I have one guy that hasn't attempted to pay and hasn't answered any messages or even acknowledged buying his item. I hate guys like that!!!! Just drop me a message and say "hey I cannot pay untill next week" or whatever the case may be. You have to communicate when trading/ selling on-line or people start to assume things and get leary of the deal.
it was a 79 us 90 folding handle bars and foot pegs, no rear fender or seat. pretty sure it had a auction tag number on it. and i think i got it for $40 bucks. pretty sure your kid was the one i met bc you might have been at work

I just bought a set of handle bars, after 10 days of not answering my messages he finally replied. It was an oversight on his part but he made up for it by throwing in a set of Scott Hurricane grips. I wish knew that was going to happen because I just bought a set the same day as the handle bars and they had already arrived LOL
Anyway... I dont think the handle bars are going to stay on the 350x, they are more of a utility trike bend. I need something a bit more sporty.

Count on about a 25% loss (or please correct me) with any sale on EBAY now-a-days. Then the PAYPAL fee.......
The rich get richer!
I haven't listed on EBAY in 4 or so years, it's nothing like it once was. In years to come, competition will arise!
