http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad7/leviblue/317.jpg My 65 Cat....cost me $400.....It's a great 20 footer with a $159.99 Crapo paint job....All stock except for the 30 yearold soild mud qts..... only driven on the nicest of days as rain might make it melt and my shoes would get wet from the swiss style floors, though the drivers side has the stop sign patch....sound supplied by a classic AM radio and the speakers kick in good when your on bumpy roads....Used as a summer tow vech for the past 8 years and is the perfect shore cruiser for under $600....when I got it I said I'm not doing a thing to it I'll drive it till it dies but that might be a while cuz it's got 41,000 org miles and I put on 10,000 of those....

The first picture is my 1966 Galaxie 500. When I picked it up 9 years ago she only had about 19,000 miles her. The second pic was my 1970 C-10 Suburban. It used to be an old highway dept truck when it was new. It looked decent from 20 feet away, but as you get close you could see the poor bondo work done by the guy who had it before me. I ended up trading it for a Honda Ruckus scooter, which was one of the dumbest things I've done. The third pic is a $200 beater 1984 LTD Crown Victoria that I had for a while. The last pic is one is the newest vehicle that I've owned. Its a 1990 Bronco 2. Its my daily driver when I'm not using the Galaxie.

my first car I got when I was 16. It was all pretty stock back then. The motor was a 305 w/a 4 speed trans. I put a 489 BBC stroker in it in 2005 w/a th400 trans and had it caged as well. It put down 640RWHP and 840 RWTQ on the chassis dyno with the help of a little giggle juice. I havent done anything with it since 2006. Guna bring it out in a couple years hopefully with a scott shafiroff 632 under the hood.

It is. The motor is just pure mock up. It will have just a sbc in it though. easy to find parts for it you have something go wrong running down the road. I want to put a flat head in it someday. I built a 396BB a few years ago and sold it. The motor still is brand new in the bags. 13:1 compression piston and all the goodies. I can buy it back for what I sold for. I think its to much motor for this truck. Shooting for spring on this build.

These aren't mine but my families out on my aunt's ranch. They are all in the junkyard now but there are some real gems in there and a lot that aren't pictured, there are soooo many old caddy's and classic cars out there, it's a 10,000 acre cattle ranch in Texas, I spent all my summers there as a kid and took these pics last summer when I was there.

Not the best picture, but it's what I have at work.
Original CA car spent its first 35 years in the desert near Palm Springs. Been in the family since 71 and with me here in TX since about 03.
67 Chevelle wagon. Was 283/PG/10 bolt now 327/TH350 w/OD and 12 bolt.
Parked since the 600,000 mile damper finally separated. I have to drill and tap the crank for a new damper and while I'm in there it's getting a timing chain cam/lifters/springs. The 327 has about 100k on it and one lifter's been ticking intermittently since day 1.
Yes, 600k miles...

Jim mac
06-11-2010, 10:43 PM
you know the old 283 and 327s only pressed the dampners on. no need to drill. jim

Plastiko This makes me want to rebuild my 79 I built it in high school. It was sick in its glory day short bed F-150 with the drive train from a 1 ton, BUILT 460, and 38 inch swamper sx's. Now it just sits in a field at my parents and gets parts robbed from it and the body turns to swiss cheese but at least it gets started every few weeks so the motor doesnt get ruined.

yea love the 'dentsides' 73-79 yj. Maybe with your starting, spray some old oil on it? thanks Dcreel!

work done this year on it
DOVE block bored/stroked to 557
convert 4bolt caps
Forged crank/rods
Iron heads, lot of port work, increased to 2.25/1.75
Custom Pistons 9.5:1 ratio (daily driver)
Mild cam
950 Dbl pumper ( had an 1150 on it, but tryin to keep the build less insane)
Headers/exhaust
Kept the factory cruise and A/C (daily driver)
All new steel fuel lines, pump/etc
New Everything else in the engine bay (rad, ARP bolts/studs=everything)
Dana 60 put in front and springs from Snowfigher package back in 79, full rebuild on frontend, only the carrier was kept
New C6 from TCI

Power was around 600 hp/700 ft lb torque (bit more than I wanted, it just makes power easy)

To be done= upgrade Ujoints at all points of driveshaft(s) and build driveshaft cage
