A guy I deal with quite often on 250R parts has an '85 ATC 250R for sale on craigslist. It looks pretty good for the money ($2000). I'd buy it for a rider if I hadn't just spent a bunch of cash upgrading my PC set up. This same guy (Scott) purchased a used Hondaline short track kit from me about 6 months ago. He was collecting parts for a flat track racer and an OEM stock build for a local customer of his. His customer has backed out, and now Scott is looking to unload the stuff. I have replaced the used short track kit I sold him with an NOS unit for myself, so I don't really want the used kit back. I bought the front # plate back off him, but that's it. Here's some pictures of the '85 he has on craigslist currently (FLINT, MI). I'd post a link to craig's ad, but I can't find the dang thing on there. Scott's not the best navigator on a computer and wasn't able to send me the link. I personally know the S/T kit is solid. He said he hasn't even unwrap the S/T parts from when they arrived to him in Michigan.
I believe he wants $2000 for the '85 ATC 250R and $1100 for the short track kit. He has an '86 ATC 250R currently listed on eBay as well, at $3385. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1986-honda-atc-250r-250-super-clean-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem255b4e68e7QQitemZ16044 5655271QQptZATVs It's pretty clean and looks quite original as well.
Please don't PM me, as I'm simply trying to help the guy out. His name is Scott, and he is from Lapeer, MI. Please call him directly. 1-810-441-1665
I am NOT in anyway a business partner or receiving proceeds from these parts or bike sales.

SORRY! Thinking now maybe this should've been posted in the ebay & craigslist section. Feel free to move it if necessary.
