So I was out wandering around the 'net looking for 3 wheeler parts, got totally lost and then stumbled across this site.

http://www.agelessengines.com/

I really liked the machining video here.http://www.agelessengines.com/audio.htm Fast forward a bit to see the piston rings getting cut.

All I can say is WOW!! No CNC, he may have a digital readout we can't see, but all that handwork is absolutely incredible.

People can't even imagine the tolerances this guy had to hold!

From planning to a finished product?! That is amazing, I am NO machinist!!

I wish he wrote up some more about the types of steel used for the valves and rings and the crank.......

If I last another 25 years or so, #1 - I still hope I can ride a trike and jump! #2 - I want to build miniature working steam engines! They are awesome precision engines!

Thats if the world lasts that long......., we'll see! I like the idea of all the 3wheeler guys helping each other out (in another post) but I think were too small in numbers...

Thanks for the vids!!, makes me wanna go machine some air box rings :D
