Man I missed out, looks like it was great time as always, I didnt get as lucky as I did in 2006. I was supposed to be there but flying standby can be a pita. We have 2 flights a day to indy from phoenix on us airways. So thurs on the 1st flight there were some no-shows so I had a seat and was on the plane, but...last minute the passengers got to the gate and they ended up pulling me off. Tried for the next one later that afternoon but it was overbooked and no luck. Bummer, I'll try again next year. Thanks for sharing the pics

As far as a bike, I would suggest starting on a 200X...they're cheap, plentiful, and easy to hop as you learn to ride more agressively.

Lindsey,
A 200X is a perfect size for you if you don't mind the kick start and clutch.
If you want to sacrifice a little performance, get a 250SX and enjoy the electric start and reverse.
Anything with rear suspension should do justice to your skill level and lower back.
Start a new thread in the Trikesylvania section and everyone will weigh in.

Some of those were taken by Alex, as well. They required a little creative editing, but she didn't do too bad :) I should go back and put proper credit on her shots. I'll probably do that when we get back from vacation.
The dust made it hard to get a lot of the action. I tried to get some photos at the drags, but aside from line-up they all would have looked the same to my poor little camera...

Kasey- It was great meeting you, too! :) I think the plan is to ride it as is (minor tuning up has already happened) until the end of warmish weather, then bring it into the house for the winter and do a full re-build. It's small enough to sit on the coffee table and get tinkered with while watching TV :D Commercial breaks and half-time during football games are perfect for working on trikes! LOL!

i've been debating on weather or not to keep the zenfolio account and i'm going with the build my own web site instead theory...

so after tomorrow my zenfolio will be gone.

but this comes at a sort of heavy toll... i've never even thought of building a web site, but so far it's not too bad.

i've spent the last 3 days and nights learning tutorials and working on this thing. and all i've gotten that matters on it is my homepage and a links page(hooked 3wheelerworld up with the top link location on my so highly trafficed site(and had to make the link my self) then my buddy ark who is another big help in all this just gave me an html code for his (far easier).

jake we drove 8-9hrs to get there and it was so worth it! the machines and to top that off i have never met so many nice hospitable people the entire place from everyone there to the manager of haspin acres pete he's a great guy!
