I was just curious how long a seller should wait and how many emails one should send before figuring out that your high bidder is a deadbeat 8)

Ebay recommends that buyer and sellers should contact each other within 3 days. I give 5-6 days, and 3-4 emails, with the last one being a firm last notice type warning. After that I wait 2 weeks and relist. The feedback slam comes later, as a suprize!

About a week is good enough. They were there to bid until the last minute then disapeared? I don't think so. Make sure you follow Ebay's procedures for getting your final value fee refunded.
