Well I checked out the link, and from what they said about it (I couldn't see much of the video unfourtantly...my connection is so bad I got about 3 frames out of the whole hting) It sounds very good, and I can't wait to see some more of it when the pictures and stuff come out later tonight. Its definetly a bit on the weird looking side, I guess that the new style of the quads though.

Yah it reminds me a lot of the arctic cat dvx. I wish it looked just like the 88-89 250r's personaly. It does look like a very nice quad though should be just as good or better than the yfz. Here is a pic of it, and no it doesn't come with all the aftermarket stuff (shocks, bumper, bars, skid plates...) I did notice honda's running the rear tires off the raptor/z400/kfx/dvx on the new R, and also a new front tire.

i don't like the headlights, but it overall looks really nice. The seat seems very low.

I like the no gas tank look in that pics!! I just wonder what the vise crips is for?

The price of the TRX450R is going to be about $6,499.

The vise grips are to hold the "steel" frame together! And no on the reverse or elec. start. But "racers" don't need that stuff? Nor do they need an aluim. frame? Looks like all the new quads, like a raptor? Thats ok, "its really nice" at least all the honda fans keep telling me this.

Whats funny is all the 400ex's for sale. And even more funny is the price they think they can sell them for! roll

Man, life in the ATV world is good!. ...... I love all this competition between the manufacturers - looks like Suzuki is going to have to go back to the drawing board and stuff a 450 class thumper in the Z. ... Is it me, or does the new TRX450R look "angry?" from the front.

I've gotta admit. I'm a little bit dissapointed in the lack of a titanium (As some had speculated) or even an aluminum frame. The suspension travel doesn't grab me as to much either...same as a 400EX, isn't it? I know its less then a YFZ450's. And Doesn't it weigh more then a TRX250R?

I dunno...I like it, and I'm glad Honda came out with a new quad, but I'm not impressed with it yet. I've been around Predators, YFZ450's, Raptors, 400ex's, V-forces, ect. None of those impress me. The ones that do impress me are Cannondales, KFX/LT400's, and of course the old 250R.

It was a picture snapped BEFORE the release.....kinda like a "spy photo" It (the TRX450R) was at the AC racing shop being fitted with aftermarket parts so when the real (stock) 450R is released, the aftermarket parts availability will already be there for it. The visegrips (molegrips????) where holding the nerf bars to the foot peg. If you look to the right of the bike, you'll see aluminum cut outs, and those are the pro-peg blanks they are fabing up for the bike.

This was posted by someone else elsewhere about the same picture!!

My cousin has a friend that works at a Honda dealership. My cousin said that the dealership already has a 450R in their storage room and he has seen it. But they didn't have the plastics for it yet. He could be lying or not?
