what is your dream vehicle?

oldskool's last thread got me thinking, whats my dream car.

lets do 2 classes
dream vehicle with no budget and dream vehicle thats realistic.

for me its a Nissan GT-R
the car puts out numbers and stats of a Ferrari or Porsche (3.8L DOHC V6 twin turbo, 500HP, 0-60 3.5 seconds) but with 30% the price. ($70,000) (its hand made where it counts and machine made where it doesn't so price is fair) also its not over loved (like everyone wants a lambo, but most dont even know what a GT-R is.) and they are rare, im sick of seeing 2.7 billion Mustangs driving 5 mins threw town. i have only seen 1 GT-R in my life. another reason is where i live, everyone is all about domestic cars, EXCEPT me. i will love a car for what it is no matter where it came from. so getting teased but then knowing none of them could touch me would be fun.

so for me this car kinda fits both categories.

i love the G body but i like the 83 and 84 H/O the best out of the G body. not as fast as the GN but faster than the SS. not to mention that the lightning rods look cool.

My dream vehicle changes from day to day. maybe a e30 M3, or a Tommy Makinen edition Evo 6, or a hyabusa powered Caterham super7, any 80s group B world rally car. Also maybe a 66 7 liter Ford Galaxie with a side oiler 427 and a 4 speed.

Well....at least we got one three wheeler. You guys have some great taste. XKE, ZR1, Aston Martin, GT-R, SLR, GN, Ford GT are all awsome......even a tank....on the right day, that would be my dream vehicle. If money was no object, I would have all of them. This thread made me laugh because I just bought my "dream vehicle" of sorts (which is why I haven't been here). Since I was 15, I wanted a BMW M5 (1988). Well I bought a new one. This thing is sick.....2 modes....one...cruise around town all casual with 400hp and be quiet with the kids in the back or two...hit the button and 507hp and be rediculous. I asked my wife to test drive it before I bought it and she declined. We bought it and pulled out of the dealership and the ride is a bit stiff....she comments on it and says "this is pretty much a race car isn't it?...." I almost bust out laughing, but said "Um...yeah".

Please excuse the rusty rotors...I just washed it before the pic....gotta love stock 15" cross drilled rotors!

Thanks Billy. The thing is nuts too. It's not scary fast like a Vette. It's really smooth. If you didn't look at the speedometer, you wouldn't even realize how fast you are accelerating.....but it keeps accelerating and accelerating. A very solid car.
