I was wondering the value of a 2002 9.9 4 stroke out board motor? Im looking at one for my little 12' boat. Its just a little runner for my local lake. I cant wait to take it out on lake Nockamixon( my local lake).

Its all about condition . I just sold a 1990 9.9 Johnson for 350.00 a few weeks ago . Needed a few things but ran well .

i wouldnt pay over 500 for it try to get it for around the 350 said above

$800 would be a good deal since most 4 stroke 9.9's are close to $2000 new. What brand is it?

Well I bought it. Paid $400 for it. It looks like it came off the showroom floor. Its a Mercury. I dont have to pay till I run it in the lake. Owner wants to make sure Im happy with it. The owner is an older guy mid 60's. Motor has been treated well.

Wow. That's a 2000 dollar motor, and you got a great deal. I am a dedicated Mercury Outboard man, and I run Mercs on all my boats. I don't know where some of the folks above are finding 10 horse 4 stroke outboards for under 400 bucks, but I want in.

Good score . I didnt catch the part were you said it was a 4 stroke and that would make it a awesome deal .

Oh, I know. I was just kidding around about you and HRT jumping in with the low ball figure. Down here (Florida- as you well know) , small, used 4 stroke outboards in great shape are like GOLD!!!

Again, that was a good find.
