He all!
First post here.

I'm 37yrs old, married, 4 kids, and in the Pocono Mountains of NE Pennsylvania.

........And I'm itchin' for one of my childhood toys.

I had a 1984 Honda 200S that was eventually sold off by the mid 1990s.
I LOVED that thing! I wasn't into racing etc. Just cutting deep though the woods/forest and enjoying the outdoors.

That 200S went a bazillion miles on a tank of gas and went places that my buddies with quads couldn't get to (the 200S was lighter and narrower).

I want a 3-wheeler again partially for me and partially for my kids to enjoy.
But I'd prefer an automatic clutch similar to that of the 200S. Sure....ya gotta shift, but without having to coordinate a clutch squeeze.

What are all the manufacturers and models that had a similar auto setup at my beloved Honda 200S?

Thanks for helping out!!!!

I'll go the easy way around it . All honda atc's are auto clutch/tranny except for the 200x and the 250r LOL .

Good luck and :welcome:

yamaha produced a few nice auto trikes , which where comparible to the 200s , such as the 225dx and 225 dr .. they also produced the yt 125 and yt 175 which i believe are both auto clutch.. the yt series where 2 strokes ..

suzuki also made a alt 125 which im pretty sure was auto , check em out on google

kawasaki had a few models as well such as the klt line 110, 200

HOPE THIS HELPS !

There's also the Yamaha YTM200. That's a nice trike. Kawi has the KLT160 and 110. The 160 is a bit slow, but still a cool machine. I've never ridden the 110 but I hear it'll smoke an ATC110. Doesn't surprise me.

Bring it! LOL
basically anything that has that look fast race look will most likely have a clutch.
200x
250r
350x
Tti-Z 250
Tecate 250
and then there are your rare racers such as Tigers and things

those are all models that have a manual clutch.

my father-in-law had some sort of Kawi 250 4-stroke that was similar to a Honda 250sx.....it was black, had electric start, minimal suspension, reverse, and get this......it had a differential you could unlock so you dont tear the lawn up when you turn, or lock up for conventional solid axle. and it was fully functional, as in when you unlocked it, it didnt just disengage one wheel, power actually transferred from one to the other...kind of a cool old trike...i cant exactly remember the model designation, i think it was a klt250e or something like that...any Kawi gurus remember that one? i got it going for him about 7 years ago or so, he rode it a little, then sold it for a fart and a peanut and it got burned up in a garage fire... :( whatever it was, i think it was worth much more than he got for it, as it was in nearly 100% condition.... i have never seen another one like it around here...

oh, and it had an auto-clutch too! ;)
