There is one for sale on craigslist that is only 500 dollars that runs and has great tires. I'm just wondering how they are as far as reliablity and so forth. I have never had a quad before but it just seems pretty cheap for a quad.

I don't know the CC of the quad though, the guy said he thinks it was a 500.

Input please?

I don't think they may made a Quadrunner 500... Should be a 250 I think. I had an 1987 lt4wd.. No problems at all. Pretty much they made almost the same bike for close to 10 years.

The only problems I had was the starter breaking teeth and the brakes master cylinders. Other then that it is was a great bike while I had it, its very heavy and ground clearance isn't all that great though. My Father currently has a the 2wd drive model and it goes through pretty much anything .

Well I bought it today. Has new rear plastic assembly and the front is faded but perfect. Tires are almost new. Quad has a few aftermarket parts.

Everything looks like in great shape. I stopped by my shop with it and the owner said I should get 1900-2200 easy if I sold it.
