Hello everybody!

I stumbled across this site a few days ago while searching for info on my '82 ATC 250R i just recently purchased. I must say im am very happy with the info i have recieved from this forum already, looking forward to making some posts!

About my Trike, Its an 82 ATC 250r, i purchased it for 180$ Cdn in a non running condition.the front forks are slightly bent below the bottom clamp. Its missing the front fender and seat. It also seems to have the rims and tires off a lawn tractor on the back :wondering... I will post some pic for you to see for yourself. It has a few exhaust leaks, but seems to run very strong now.

So, my immediate plans for the R are to replace the rear wheels (possibly with 400ex hubs/rims) or ITP steely's. Install k&n pod filter, look for bigger carb, new exhaust, and the seat and fender.

So if anyone has any advice/info on upgrades or know where to get some good aftermarket parts please feel free to let me know!

I attached the only picture i had ! i will get some more today!

Where abouts in alberta are you from? I wouldn't waist my time ona K&N,just use a good foam filter like a uni. Much better filtration and trust me you will never see any gains with the K&N. Cool trike though you got there. Try Recycle Motorcycles near Edmonton for parts and also look at Kijiji and you might find something.
