swinging on a rope swing, caught a hiding rock in the sand......11 stitches total, tendons were hanging out.....next day, my toes were purple, and theres a nice bruise-line running down the side of my foot.

Whew. That looks terrible. I once dropped two Ford Big block heads on my right foot. My foot was purple for a week.
Hang&rattle, bullriding takes some serious cajones, nice. I have a high amount of fear and respect for rodeo/cowboys, cool.

Thanks 3wheelmecca, jus' letting 300rman know how cool that one turned out. I rode for so long I lost my sense of fear for anything, after 2000# animals try to kill you because they're upset, things tend to no longer put fear in ya. That's why I love to ride the wild Tecate, feels good to have the sh!t scared out of me again I spose'.

Haha, the tec-3 has put the fear of god in Newrider3 as well as myself. It scats when on the pipe.
300rman, no tough spots in your range of motion I hope?
I'm 17 and have gotten pretty messed up, but that tops it. hope you feel better soon.
Can you walk on it?

Should heal fine. I was in the gym one time and I just finished with the leg press and I was putting a 100lbs. plate back on the plate holder and it slipped out of my sweaty hands right on the top part of my foot. That didnt feel too good. It instantly swoll up to the point I could barely get my shoe off minutes later. Luckily nothing broke, just couldnt walk on it for about 1 week.

back in december i slipped on some ice and broke my right ankle in 2 places, i had to get a operation done to get a plate or 2 put in, was in a cast for a month-month and a half, then it took a couple of weeks to get used to walking/putting weight on it but now it's all good, its just every now and then it bothers me for a bit but that's all, still got the scars from where the cut me open also :)

Dude...you got some serious ape knuckles goin on there!

Really though...that sucks, hope you heal quickly.

My goal in life since I was 4 was to get my age higher than my stitch count and I'm a big ol' FAIL in that respect at 37yrs old. I gotta go the next 17 years just to break even...

Thanks guys, been away from home.

stitches are out, looks good. tendons are still SORE, as is the top of my foot, but walking isnt too big of a chore now. if the area gets stretched at all, my toes feel like they are on fire :(

funny thing was, i wasnt trying to be "macho"....just doing silly kid stuff, and excavated a rock out of the beach lol.
